Sheffield Miscarriage Support Network
After experiencing my own late miscarriage in October of last year, I found myself craving the support and advice of women and families that share a similar experience to my own. I set out to find a community in Sheffield that I could join and share my story and listen to other peoples, however I struggled to find an easily accessible support network, which lead me to try and create one of my own.
The Sheffield miscarriage support network was created to support families that have experienced miscarriage and baby loss. This community was developed to offer individuals a safe environment to share stories and offer each other advice. After experiencing my own miscarriage, I understand how challenging it can be to reach out for help. I hope to normalise the conversation surrounding baby loss and encourage people to feel supported to discuss the complex and isolating grief of miscarriage.
